Ben Klanica is the Vice President of Finance and Accounting at Horton Companies, where he oversees the finance and accounting functions for the company’s real estate portfolio. Since joining the firm in 2026, Ben has focused on financial operations, reporting, and strategic oversight across the organization’s real estate investments and development activities.
Prior to joining Horton Companies, Ben served as a Financial Controller for a private real estate lender and previously held the role of Finance Manager for a public REIT, where he played a key role in the company’s SEC reporting and investor relations. Earlier in his career, he worked as an auditor at RSM US LLP, where he gained extensive experience in financial reporting, accounting processes, and advisory services. Ben earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from University of New Hampshire.
Outside of his professional career, Ben serves as a board member for a non-profit foundation focused on supporting mental health initiatives and community outreach. In his free time, he enjoys golf, hockey, fishing, traveling, and is an avid Boston Bruins and Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Andrea is an accomplished Property Manager with more than 20 years of experience in the real estate and property management industry. As Property Manager at Horton Companies, Andrea brings extensive expertise in commercial and residential property operations, asset management, tenant relations, and operational excellence.
Throughout a distinguished career, Andrea has held leadership positions with respected organizations including Owens Realty Services, Fusco Management, Bozzuto Management Company, South Oxford Management, and Building & Land Technology. This diverse experience has provided a comprehensive understanding of property management, construction operations, business administration, and customer-focused service delivery.
Andrea has a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management and Marketing, Andrea is committed to maximizing property performance while fostering positive relationships with tenants, clients, and stakeholders.
Andrea resides along Connecticut’s shoreline, where she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, children, and grandchildren.
Matt oversees investments and asset management of Horton’s commercial properties, with a keen focus on asset strategy and property management. He brings a rigorous, institutional perspective toward every aspect of ownership and prides himself on being hands on with day-to-day operations.
Before returning to the family business, Matt spent nearly five years at Cabot Properties in Boston, one of the country’s leading industrial real estate investment managers. He worked on the investments team, alongside some of the most respected investors in the sector. During his tenure, he contributed to 24 acquisitions and developments totaling more than $945 million in gross asset value across 6.3 million square feet. In his latest role there, he led due diligence on transactions totaling $400 million across the southeastern US.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in corporate finance and accounting from Bentley University, graduating summa cum laude.
KC rejoined Horton Companies in 2026 after six years in Boston. His primary responsibilities include leading the firm’s new investment pursuits and managing existing assets alongside his brother, Matt Horton.
Prior to rejoining Horton, KC spent four years on Greystar’s Northeast development team, where he worked on capitalizations approaching $1 billion. He directly led three projects comprising 741 multifamily units and 540 student housing beds, and contributed to over half a million square feet of lab and office development.
Notable work includes leading the development of two Class A apartment buildings in Everett, MA, Jade and Juniper, as well as supporting 74 Middlesex Avenue in Somerville, MA, Greystar’s first life sciences project.
Before Greystar, KC focused on acquisitions and asset management at Longpoint Partners, where he worked on logistics and grocery-anchored retail properties in Northern New Jersey and South Florida. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Bentley University.
Bill has been with Horton Cos. since its inception and has been an integral contributor to the firm’s success. A Connecticut CPA with over 27 years of experience in the real estate and construction industries, he is responsible for financial reporting and statement preparation for the company and its related entities. He works closely with the firm’s accountants, legal counsel, and bank representatives to ensure compliance with all government and regulatory reporting requirements.
Bill is a longstanding member of both the AICPA and CSCPA and holds a BS in accounting from Bryant University. He donates a significant amount of his time to the Sarah Foundation in Guilford, CT, where he resides with his family.
Kenny Horton founded Horton Cos. in 2015. As President, he oversees the sourcing and execution of the firm’s investments. His optimistic approach, built on nurturing interpersonal relationships, has made Horton Cos. one of New England’s most awarded developers and investors.
Kenny provides the company with expertise in land acquisition, zoning, development, construction, and leasing. In addition to Horton Cos., Kenny also founded and serves as president of general contracting firm Horton Group as well as serves as the President and CEO of Pasquariello Electric, a firm that has provided electrical contracting services throughout the east coast since 1919.
Kenny enjoys fishing, biking, pickleball, and spending time with his wife Lynn and his three sons, KC, Matt, and Kyle.
